How can I Edit my Ongoing Newsletter Campaign?

If you'd like to make a change to your Newsletter Campaign that will be inherited to all future sends, this will need to be done within the message campaign itself. This means you'll need to go to the Email tab of the admin tool, select your Newsletter, and then make any edits to the message there.

A few things to note:

  • If you make any changes to your content block defaults, these changes will not appear in any previously sending ongoing email campaigns. The changes made in the content block defaults will only appear in any new campaigns created. For the changes to stick in an ongoing campaign, you will need to edit the email itself.
  • For changes to be inherited to all future sends of your newsletter, you will need to edit your Newsletter outside of the Approval window (if you have approval emails turned on). This means that you will need to edit your Newsletter when it is not pending approval to send. If you make a change to your Newsletter within the Approval window, it will only edit the message for that specific send.

Tip! You can tell that the email is within the Approval Window because there will be a Resend Approval Email button at the bottom of the flyout menu.

The Approval Window lasts from the time the Approval Email is sent, until the time that the Newsletter Instance is approved and sent. The Approval Window will automatically be cancelled after about 11 hours if the email is never approved.
