How to Insert Tracking Pixels in Promotions

Tracking pixels are pieces of code from a 3rd party that allow you to gather information about your users on your site - like how they browse, what type of ads they click on, etc.

Tracking Pixels in Promotions

Tip! We do have a Google Analytics integration that allows you to track page views, page abandonment, and more. You can read more about that here! If you have development resources, you can also create a custom solution to capture events within the iFrame using our Software Development Kit (SDK).

You can add tracking pixels to your promotion’s page in two ways:

Add Pixel Code to your Embed Page

  • Place the tracking pixel code within the HTML of the page your promotion is embedded on. This will allow that pixel to track activity on that specific page.

Add Pixel Code to your Scrape Page

  • If you are not embedding your promotion, you may instead be using a Scrape Page to brand your promotion. You will then place the tracking pixel code within the HTML of your Scrape Page. This will allow that pixel to track activity on that specific page.

Heads Up! You cannot place a tracking pixel within the promotion iFrame itself, but you can place it within the page the promotion lives on.
