Email FAQ

What is the Difference Between Sendable and Not Sendable?

If a user is marked as Sendable, this means that you are able to send them emails from your account.

If a user is marked as Not Sendable, this means that you will not be able to send them emails. A user could be marked as Not Sendable for the following reasons:

  • The user has Unsubscribed from all communication
  • The user's email address has Hard Bounced
Tip! If you need further information on the difference between Soft Bounces and Hard Bounces, check out our article here.
  • The user's email address has Soft Bounced too many times, thus converting to a Hard Bounce

Tip! Here's an article that explains how a Soft Bounce becomes a Hard Bounce.

  • The email address provided is Invalid
  • The email address is a known SpamTrap

Tip! A spam trap is an email address that is actively monitored to catch people trying to send spam emails - or emails sent to an email address that did not opt-in to communication.
